"Being an artist at heart drew me to a career in design, but the practical nature of how the built environment can improve the lives of the individuals who use the space has been my constant encouragement. I have always had a passion for colors and I am intrigued by the energy they invigorate in a space. Interior Design requires a variety of styles and approaches, not merely ones own personal vision. Therefore, being able to balance your own taste and the clients taste, and the ability to balance the practical with the aesthetic, is crucial to being a successful interior designer."

 

Currently, Chelsea is employed by a flooring manufacturers rep group, rEclaim, as am Architectural Sales Consultant. Chelsea consults with architects and designers while collaboratively working with them to specify flooring products. In May of 2011, Chelsea graduated from Sage College of Albany with a Bachelors in Interior Design. Over the past few years, she has had experience in both residential and commerical design through the involvement in various design positions in both New York and the DC Metro Area.
